When using a syslog server to log files to, what will the path or filename of the syslog file be that the Cradlepoint logs to? I have setup a syslog server, but I am not sure where to look to find the logs on the server.
Every syslog server is different and that is dependent on what you are using. Cradlepoint handles sending the information to your syslog server but once it does that, it is out of our hands. I would recommend looking up information about the specific syslog you're using.
Thank you Russell. I appreciate the quick response. I'm just using rsyslog in Linux. I got it working, and I see that the Cradlepoint logs as cp.local.tld into the main syslog file. I can filter it off to another file now that I know what I'm looking for. Thanks for responding.
